The Kingston Military Family Resource Centre (KMFRC) provides quality services and programs to support the evolving needs of all members of our military families. Through diverse programs and services, the centre seeks to create a supportive community of resilient military families. A 24/7 family information line offers confidential, personal and bilingual assistance outside of regular KMFRC hours: 1-800-866-4546 (international) or 1-613-995-5234 (collect calls).

Employment and Training

1. Personal Development and Community Integration

The Kingston Military Family Resource Centre (KMFRC) offers programs and services to the loved ones of members of the Canadian Forces. KMFRC wants to ensure all military families and individuals feel comfortable in the Kingston community. The Centre provides welcome and orientation, information and referrals, employment and education assistance, second language services, and support in personal growth and development. 1. Child and Youth Development & Parenting Supports

The Kingston Military Family Resource Centre (KMFRC) offers programs and services to the loved ones of members of the Canadian Forces. Various programs and services are offered to meet family needs. KMFRC offers child and youth development programs, as well as parenting supports. Options include activities and initiatives for children and youth, parenting/caregiver education and support, emergency childcare, emergency respite child care, and casual child care.  Services are offered in both English and French. The Kingston Military Family Resource Centre (KMFRC) offers programs and services to the loved ones of members of the Canadian Forces. Counselling and social supports are available for military families, individual, child, adolescent and couples. Services include education and prevention, self-help groups, assessment and referrals, and short-term intervention and crisis support. Services are offered in both English and French. For assistance outside the KMFRC business hours, loved ones of any CF member can call the Family Information Line for support. This is a 24/7 information line that offers confidential, personal and bilingual assistance. Counsellors can help you obtain information, provide reassurance, support and referral to the various services offered to CF families and in your local area.
