Family and Children's Services of Frontenac, Lennox & Addington

Family and Children's Services (FACS) provides support to families who are having difficulties caring for children. The emphasis is put on child and family safety. FACS also advocates for families they work with, and provides community referrals to other organizations and programs. FACS can also provide pregnancy supports and counselling where applicable. Self-referrals are accepted. 

If anyone is concerned about the welfare or care of a child (from birth to age 16), they can call Family and Children's Services (FACS) and report it. Individuals can choose to remain anonymous. Anyone reporting will speak with a child protection professional who will listen, ask questions, determine the risk of the situation and provide and supports and services that my be needed to keep the child safe.
