Kingston Access Bus
The KAB provides safe, courteous, and reliable transit service for persons having impaired mobility. The bus is available to residents of Kingston who cannot use conventional transit. Individuals must register with the KAB – registration forms can be found at the KAB website or available at the office. The cost is $3.25 one way and individuals must book trips at least an hour in advance. Bookings must be made during office hours: Monday to Friday 7:30am to 8:00pm, Saturday 9:00am to 8:00pm, Sunday 9:00am to 6:00pm. They also offer monthly passes, that is $80.00, for anyone who doesn’t qualify for the Affordable Monthly Pass Programs. Cost is $40.00 for people based on the City of Kingston Municipal Fee Assistance Program Qualifications, and it's $29.75 based on the former plus being of age 65+.
