Limestone District School Board
Parenting and Family Literacy Centres (PFLC) offer programming for families with young children (babies to age 6). The program is free of charge and open to all members of the community. Each centre provides play-based activities to help prepare children for school. Children and parents/caregivers attend together. Activities include reading, music and story time, access to community resources, and a reading lending library. The program is free and pre-registration is not required. Currently, PFLC is run out of Holy Family Catholic School from 9:30am to 1:30pm, Rideau Heights Public School from 8:15am to 12:15am, or Frontenac Public School from 8:30am to 12:30pm. Contact the Parenting and Family Literacy Centre at the Limestone District School Board for more information.
