Tutoring and Mentoring

A tutoring and mentoring program offered to high school students in North Kingston. To be eligible, students must live in the catchment area: From Raglan Road, north to Conacher Drive and Division St., and east to the Cataraqui River. Participating students and families are provided with programmed tutoring, mentoring, activities, access to a Student Parent Support Worker and daily financial support (i.e. transit tickets, lunch coupons). If funding is available, students will also have access to a scholarship upon graduating from the program, which can be used towards college/university, vocational training, employment, etc. Students in Grades 11 and 12 have the opportunity to participate in career exploration. Parent involvement and support is strongly recommended. There is no cost to participate, and students can join the program in any year of high school. For more information about the program, or to register, contact Pathways to Education.
